From the Desk of the Site Manager…

As the site manager for Newark Rose Garden Apartments, I’m delighted to welcome you to our little corner of the world. If you’ve been dreaming of retiring to a quiet, affordable home near the Finger Lakes, then you’ve found just the right place. Nestled less than half an hour’s drive from both Seneca and Canandaigua Lakes, Newark Rose Garden is close enough for weekends on the lake, yet far enough to escape the hustle and bustle of the high season. Our location is just one of the many things that makes our community such a special place to live.

Newark Rose Garden is situated on more than seven acres of beautiful, park-like grassland. Our apartments provide scenic views of a natural vista, and many residents enjoy frequent glimpses of the local wildlife. The grounds are meticulously kept, with beautiful landscaping in the warmer months and timely snow removal in winter. In our community, maintenance is taken care of for you so that you can spend your days doing what you enjoy most.

Newcomers needn’t worry about getting to know your neighbors. Ours is an active and friendly community, offering plenty of opportunities to connect. Each week is buzzing with get-togethers. On Mondays, we celebrate the week’s birthdays with a coffee hour. Wednesdays are often game nights or popcorn & movie nights. Fridays are for bingo and pizza, unless it’s the third Friday of the month; that’s reserved for a potluck dinner with more game playing. Once a month, members of the community go out for dinner. And, of course, we celebrate all the major holidays with memorable parties.

It doesn’t take a special event, however, to bring NRG neighbors together. Someone is always grilling or hosting a cookout, and you’re sure to see a friendly face while out for a walk on our beautiful seven-and-a-half-acre property. Just by spending time in the community room, laundry, and kitchen, many tenants form lifelong friendships.

 

The safety of our residents and visitors is of the utmost importance to the staff here at Newark Rose Garden. Each of the bedrooms and bathrooms in our units features a pull cord which can be used to alert the staff of an emergency. In the winter, our dedicated maintenance personnel make sure to keep parking lot and sidewalks plowed and salted. That same maintenance crew is also committed to resolving maintenance requests by the next day – and on the same day whenever possible. When it comes to verifying the identity of visitors, the downstairs apartments feature peepholes, while upstairs units feature brand-new intercom systems. Dedicated entrances for every apartment cut down on traffic and noise.

We’re always working to make our community more beautiful and enjoyable for everyone who lives here. Over the last few years, we’ve installed new, energy-efficient windows and doors in each apartment to enhance security and reduce heating costs. Another project completed recently was the resurfacing of our parking lot. When you see areas in which we would make further improvements, we hope you’ll let us know!
